Rebecca Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Social Work and is completing her necessary hours to gain licensure. She received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Old Dominion University. Traci Bunn Powers spent over 20 years in professional ministry. During this time, she experienced firsthand the negative impact that high-control religion and adverse religious experiences can have on a person. She is currently a student at William and Mary pursuing her degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling focusing on helping others process, recover, and heal from religious hurt, harm, trauma, and adverse religious experiences. She holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees from Campbell University and did continuing education with Cornell University. She is currently pursuing her Certificate in Religious Trauma Studies from the Global Center for Religious Research.
